Manchester United fans will be breathing a sigh of relief today, as star defender Nemanja Vidic has been declared fit ahead of the possible title decider against Chelsea tomorrow.
Vidic missed the midweek game against Barcelona, thanks to a stomach virus. However, the Serbian international was able to take part in the training session this morning, and is elligible for the trip to Stamford Bridge.
Speaking on the club’s official website, manager Sir Alex Ferguson was hopeful that Vidic will be able to start against the blues.
“He has trained this morning. We’re …

Cristiano Ronaldo missed the chance to give Manchester United an away goal, and a definitive advantage, as they battled to a 0-0 draw at the Nou Camp last night.
The chance came in the form of a penalty, conceded by Barca defender Gabriel Milito within the first 90 seconds of the game. In an attempt to clear an early United cross, Milito handled the ball, with the referee immediately pointing to the spot.

Ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League Semi Final first leg against Barcelona, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has told players to forget the past and ‘shape their own destiny’ .
Ferguson’s Manchester United side visit the Nou Camp for the first time since their historic triumph in the 1999 Champions League final. While Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville and Wes Brown remain from the ’99 squad, most of the squad will be making their Nou Camp debuts in United colours, some entering the awe-inspiring stadium for the first time ever.
However, Ferguson feels …

Ahead of the clash between current league leaders Man Utd and Arsenal, Sir Alex Ferguson has praised how summer acquisitions Hargreaves, Anderson, Nani and Tevez have settled in and played a huge part in the club’s push for success. Ferguson said that this summer will be no difference. The Scot believes that there are certain departments in the squad that need strengthening and he would spend money to keep the team competitive.
Most probably, Fergie was referring to the defensive department which is a bit short currently with injuries to Vidic …

Man Utd are one of the clubs to be linked with goalkeeper Carlos Idriss Kameni, after the Cameroonian goalie stated that he is looking to leave Espanyol in the summer. The goalkeeper has great talents and would be a wonderful signing for any big club. It has been reported that Man Utd are analysing the situation before making a move. Most probably, the player from Cameroon would want regular first-team action for his new club, and with Man Utd already having 3 top-class goalkeepers at their disposal, it may …

All Red Devils fans are eagerly awaiting tonight’s game against the Italians Roma. A repeat of last season’s 7-1 home victory is highly unlikely, but all odds are pointing to a Man Utd win at the Theatre of Dreams. Having won the first leg by 2 goals to nil, Roma must score twice (and keep a clean sheet!) at Old Trafford to take the game to extra time, or else score (an impossible?) three goals to win the game on aggregate.

Manchester United are boosted by the news that world-class …

Speculation about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future is increasing again as we approach the summer and the re-opening of the transfer market. Guess what! Real Madrid are once again projected as the favourites to sign the Portuguese sensation from Manchester United. If reports are to be believed, then the Real Madrid board are either deaf or plain stupid to persist with their intentions of luring Ronaldo away from the Red Devils. Ferguson said he doesn’t want to sell, the board won’t accept any fee for their prized wonderkid, Man Utd are on …
